An incredible re-recording of the marvelous charts that John Williams both wrote and conducted for Shelly Manne’s 1965 Capitol Records LP "Manne- That’s Gershwin!" Steve Houghton and company have produced thoughtful, swinging reinterpretations of the Williams’ arrangements, and added four exquisite quintet arrangements of their own. This is what a re-make is supposed to be about!
All compositions by George Gershwin. Arrangements by John Williams unless otherwise indicated. |
