The band is a rock. John Abraham is one of the most subtle, resourceful and ingenious drummers anywhere. Tom Warrington is a Casals of the bass. Stefan Karlsson earned a worldwide reputation with his comprehensive mastery of piano possibilities. Joe Lano is a brilliant and melodic player. Rocky Winslow made an extremely difficult trumpet style his own and invents long, flowing lines. Marc Solis is one of our most creative players, not content to pile three scales on every chord at impossible speed like Michael Brecker, which he can do.
